Stacy Dalton, Founder
I provide education and preventative education to families, educators, and organizations around the world. Family Life Education is the practice of equipping and empowering family members to develop knowledge and skills that enhance well-being and strengthen interpersonal relationships through an educational, preventive, and strengths-based approach.
The skills and knowledge needed for healthy family functioning are widely known:
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of typical human development
Good decision-making skills, positive self-esteem
Healthy interpersonal relationships
Our Goal
The goal of Family Life Education (abbreviated FLE) is to teach these skill and knowledge areas to family members across the lifespan, and foster positive individual and family development so families can function optimally.
Experience
My experience in education dates back to 1990, starting with early learners. Advancing from preschool teacher to early education specialist to program manager for acclaimed early childhood centers, I worked with teachers, families, and the community to ensure top-notch care and education for children with a focus on development and learning readiness. Moving up in ages, I also worked with young adults in several capacities, including career exploration, student support in post-secondary education, and life skills. Additionally, I have taught at most grade levels in some capacity, and currently serve students, teachers, and families as Special Education Coordinator for a K-12 charter school. A common thread through all of my experience is connecting families, educators, and the community to provide support and understanding for the development of independent and mindful children.

As a Certified Family Life Educator and teacher, I have provided training and educational programs to parents, teachers, administrators, and the community. Topics include new parenting, preschool prep, reading readiness, mental health / mental illness information and background, co-parenting, toddler and child milestones and development, middle school behavior, circle time activities, preschool curriculum, early literacy, education and career exploration, behavior concerns, special education programs, and more.
Additionally, I have provided Pre-employment Transition services for students ages 15+ including vocational adjustment, workplace readiness, personal / social adjustment, post-secondary education exploration, independent living, career exploration, and on-site training.
I strongly believe in supporting families through communication and educational opportunities provided by the community and educational organizations.
